Pedro Medina holds a degree in philosophy from the Universidad de Murcia in Spain and a doctorate in cultural studies from the Scuola Internazionale di Alti Studi di Modena. Over the course of an extensive academic and professional career across Spain and Italy, he has specialised in art theory and pedagogy alongside new contemporary visual languages, teaching at institutions including the Istituto Europeo di Design, the Politecnico di Torino, and various Accademie di Belle Arti. His curatorial practice and art criticism encompass more than 100 exhibitions and projects, and he has published widely on art, contemporary culture, design, and philosophy.
