At the NEXT IN Summit 2025, Carla Prat, Director of Design and Experiences at ACCIONA Cultura; Alejandro Vergara, Curator at the Museo del Prado; Mathieu Félix, Creative Director and Founder of Tigrelab; and Myriam Achard, Director of New Media Partnerships and PR at PHI, joined journalist María de la Peña to explore how virtual reality is transforming the way the public connects with art. Rather than just a technological tool, VR is presented as a “portal” that allows access to the essence of the museum beyond its physical walls, sparking entirely new forms of experience
Drawing on complementary perspectives—spanning curation, creativity, production, and international distribution—the session outlined a future where technology does not replace the museum, but instead invites new audiences to step inside the history of art.
