An immersive virtual reality experience was developed for the major Eduardo Chillida retrospective "Convergence", in The San Diego Museum of Art. The exhibition featured a wide selection of sculptures and works on paper by the artist, complemented by this innovative technology.

The virtual reality experience focuses on one of Chillida’s most iconic works: Comb of the Wind (1977), located in San Sebastián, Spain. Designed for various simultaneous participants, the immersion transports visitors directly to the site, allowing them to feel the salty breeze, hear the rhythmic crash of waves, and connect deeply with the monumental sculptures, feeling the elemental energy that defines Chillida’s work.

ACCIONA Cultura was responsible for the conception, direction, and development of this solution, integrating various disciplines to create a multisensory experience that enriches the exhibition and strengthens the emotional impact of Chillida’s work, demonstrating how technology can act as a bridge between art and the public.
