The National Museum of Energy and Technology - MUNET
The National Museum of Energy and Technology (MUNET) in Mexico City is a new-generation science museum dedicated to exploring energy and technology, from their fundamental principles and applications to their role in shaping a more sustainable future. Located in the Bosque de Chapultepec, the museum promotes scientific education and technological knowledge while encouraging curiosity and fostering new scientific vocations.
ACCIONA Cultura is responsible for the design and comprehensive museum execution, integrating exhibition design, technical development and museographic implementation across 10 major thematic areas. The experience explores different forms of energy, including electricity, fossil fuels, nuclear, solar, wind, hydraulic, geothermal and bioenergy, through interactive environments that invite visitors to experiment, discover and understand how energy is generated, transformed and used.
Through the integration of content, technology and interactive experiences, MUNET translates complex scientific concepts into an engaging visitor journey, while addressing the challenges of sustainability and the energy transition.
